Schrodinger equation is a fundamental equation in quantum mechanics. To solve the solution is an important issue in many research fields, e.g. quantum chemistry and solid state physics. I will discuss the difficulties in the numerical simulation of the Schrodinger equation, and asymptotic methods for computing it. Especially these methods are connected to the semiclassical limit of Schrodinger equation which provide a way to go from microscopic description to mesoscopic description.
