Skein Theory and Quantum Representations

Abstract: Following the diagrammatic approach of my last talk we look at exploring representations that arise in this context. In particular we will look at vector spaces spanned by the ways to label trivalent graphs. This will allow us to explore representations of mapping class groups with an emphasis put on braid groups.
