Salary range: See Table 15 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimated full-time rate for this position at 100% time is $66,259-$79,118 annually. Percent appointments may vary.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers to teach undergraduate or graduate Mathematics courses. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the needs of the department. Positions may range from one quarter to one year with the possibility of reappointment depending on performance and further departmental need.
 
The successful applicant will be a broadly trained mathematician who is dedicated to teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

For the positions, at the time of application, candidates must possess a Master's in Mathematics or a closely related field.
 

Preferred qualifications

PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field and will be a broadly trained mathematician who is dedicated to teaching.
